Description
Our master mix is a blend of soy hull pellets and wood fuel pellets. This mix is great for woodloving and medicinal mushrooms. If you plan on growing mushrooms such as Lions Mane, Oysters, Shiitake, Chestnuts, Nameko, Pioppino, Enoki and even Reishi, this is the substrate mix for you.
Why do we chose to use this master mix ?
Soy hulls add the essential nitrogen, proteins, and lipids needed to fuel explosive mycelial growth. Soy hulls possess a high water-holding capacity, helping keep the substrate hydrated throughout the fruiting cycle. It adds a nutrient-rich media to the substrate and shortens colonization times, allowing the mycelium to fully run through the block much quicker.
When we combine soy hulls with hardwood fuel pellets in a 50/50 ratio, it drastically increases overall mushroom yields compared to unsupplemented wood substrate.
Give our Sterilized Master Mix Substrate a try today and grow your favorite mushrooms with ease.
